Many designers may feel that Corporate Identity starts and ends with a quality logo design, however it goes far beyond that. While a crisp, clean logo that is representative of the company's core products and services is critical, consistency with style and nuance that represents the value of those products and services to their customers is just as important.
Every element of print, visual or auditory media must convey the company's value to the public and to their customers. I believe Aristotle said it best when he stated, "The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance." Essentially, all forms of advertisement, including the corporate logo, must send the same message of quality, stability, credibility, efficiency, reliability and expertise to their target audience as well as to the general public. In this way, the company will establish a public image that will resonate trust within the community and build a strong customer base.
